However, with the growing tendency to keep birds in large groups, identifying specific birds that are performing or receiving FP is difficult. Selective breeding can be used to obtain animals that are less likely to perform damaging behavior on their pen-mates. I think one of the first I will begin separately might be a survival or vampire plot.Damaging behaviors, like feather pecking (FP), have large economic and welfare consequences in the commercial laying hen industry. Your patience is noticed and appreciated.
There are some absolutely beautiful plots I’ve been sent, full of detail and promise, and I want to give a reply that matches that effort when I’m not on my phone at work. Scandinavian countries are of great interest to me, and I’d love to be able to put to use some of the nature and supernatural qualities of bits of stories I’ve + DMs I’ve yet to reply to: I’m settling into a new job, but will try tonight to get through all of my messages. And Norway? Quite a gorgeous place, with such a rich history of traditions and lore. Thank you for the link! I will certainly go peruse the thread! Supernatural is always such a treat to unwrap. I have seen I Am Legend before, but it’s been several years, so I’ll try to refresh my memory on it to gain a better grasp. There are so many layers to it, and it’s quite an adventure. Apocalyptic is another absolute favorite of mine to explore. I’ve never roleplayed on Discord, but I’m not opposed to it! I will go find your post in a moment and look it over. I'm always looking for storylines to explore and create a character for, though, so if you have any current cravings to write, I'd be happy to discuss ideas and come up with something we can both enjoy!Īny vein of supernatural and fantasy always catches my attention. If you're not interested in that, no biggie, I figured I'd throw it out there. I have an application/Sign-Ups thread here on Wolvden and one on Lioden, but so far it is myself and two others.
It will be a small-group of realistic, literate writers. I currently have a human-apocalyptic roleplay (based on the I Am Legend movie) that is in the process of opening on Discord if you're open to roleplaying there. I prefer canid- or supernatural- based roleplays, specifically those geared towards werewolves or shapeshifters, but I will write for just about any storyline and characters, including but not limited to felines, canines, humans, and a multitude of fantasy creatures. I go by West or Friday on most forums and write semi-lit to literate pieces regularly. I look forward to meeting you all! If you have any questions, comments, suggestions, introductions, please feel welcome to post here or send a private message.
My time zone is EST - I’m typically more available in the evenings, but also do expect responses during the day when time permits. We all have various commitments and jobs, so I certainly understand when replies are delayed. I’m more comfortable with 18+ as someone who is now 25-years-old. Or, let this post serve as my bold interest in your own literate/semi-literate stories. Forum-based is my preferred medium, but we can discuss options. I’m willing to create the roleplays if there is enough interest to get a couple of people together. Tolkien’s universe, Star Trek, Harry Potter, LOST, the Hunger Games, Percy Jackson, the Maze Runner, True Blood, the Vampire Chronicles, Twilight, classic fairytales, and Warrior cats. That being said, I’ve had experience with the following: J.R.R. The genres that I tend to gravitate toward are as follows: Human, Humanoid, Fantasy/High-Fantasy, Historical-Fiction, Science-Fiction, veins of Romance, Contemporary/Present-Day, Disaster/Adventure, Dystopian, Supernatural (such as vampires), etcįandoms - I’m not as keen about engaging in these, unless there is a good plot to really drive it, and we create our own characters. Nicely separated paragraphs, possibly bolded dialogue, capitalization where capitalization is needed, etc.
the “old dog” set in their way, of sorts. I consider myself a bit crotchety when it comes to format and rules. I may be able to be swayed to check out an animal plot, though. I am seeking individuals who prefer to write literate or semi-literate, with human or humanoid inclination. Now that I have more time, it would be the greatest pleasure to rediscover what truly opened my eyes to the world of writing and development - roleplaying. The past few years haven’t flourished as much in the way of creative writing, due to school, but as of May I can officially say that I’ve graduated with my BA in English. My name is Artex, and I’ve been roleplaying for about fourteen years.
